Career Fair Recap

I visited quite a few different businesses at the career fair at Midland University. The three I listed were pretty well known companies. The first one is a pretty well known bank in the area and have the tallest building in Omaha. They talked to me about the three programs that they offer. These three programs are Corporate Internship Program, Management Trainee Program, and. Executive Development Associate Program. The next business I talked told me about what they do and about their Internship opportunities. They have a finance and accounting internship that is a 12-week program that is designed for high performing students entering their senior year. Some of the opportunities that are. presented to you with this internship are real hands on experience in the finance field, you also get the opportunity to work with other interns to come to conclusions on real business problems. I thought overall this was really good for Midland to host, I personally think that it was good for me to go to this as a freshman in college. It gave me confidence in talking to more people in the business world. It also gave insight on opportunities I can capitalize on now and in the future. Midland should host more of these events in my opinion as they are a great opportunity for Midland students to get a grasp on what their career will look like.
