Why Take MKT257?

There are a couple of reasons why I decided to take Social Media for Organizations, or for short (MKT257). The first of which is that it’s pretty cool to get to work with real businesses while learning the fundamentals of what is happening, also that real life interaction is a great learning tool that will help us translate what we learn in college to the real life work force. The next reason that I decided to take this course is that this is field that is current blowing up in the world we live in. Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, and many more forms of social media are taking the marketing world by storm. We are all witnessing this first hand when we go on our phones and see various ads on our social media platforms. This class will provide me with a tremendous edge over students who haven’t took this course in my opinion.
